About CT Murals
CT Murals is a public art management and consulting service of the nonprofit organization, The RiseUP Group, Inc. CT Mural’s mission is to activate spaces with creativity and public art.
CT Murals began executing public art projects throughout Hartford in 2015 as a response to Hartford community members’ and local artists’ need for support in creating a vibrant and positive city. CT Murals has expanded from producing our own public art projects to providing an end to end service for businesses, nonprofits, and cities to turn spaces into attractive pieces of creative art. CT Murals has completed 25 (and counting) public art projects since 2015.
About the Hartford Young Dreamers
The Hartford Young Dreamers Basketball program was founded in 2016 by Leo Ramirez, a life-long Hartford resident. Leo launched the basketball program at the park on Hudson Street, starting by repairing the dilapidated courts with a group of volunteers, to make it playable for the kids. HYD also offers basketball clinics, the Ramirez Summer Classic tournaments, and a competitive AAU basketball team to youth in the area surrounding neighborhood. The Hartford Young Dreamers has served over 1,000 youth since its founding.

About Corey Pane
Corey Pane is an artist from the Hartford, CT area. He has been interested in art and the creative side of life since he was a child. He has been drawing since he was a kid and also developed other artistic talents in music with the guitar and drums. Corey views his work as being more abstract and expressive in its technique, even though it may not always look that way. His main focus is not to achieve photo-realism, but to show expression and to tell a story that evokes a certain emotion or feeling. Corey attacks his paintings with a very quick approach. Most of his paintings come together spontaneously and automatically. Corey has a certain direction or idea he sets out to capture, but likes to let his paintings work and create themselves at the same time, while he helps to guide them in certain directions. Letting it come together however it may be meant to happen.
Corey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Hartford Arts School at the University of Hartford.
